She also didn't prevent the massacre at Darfur and the slaughter of Rwanda, either..

The woman saw her husband slaughtered for being "politically incorrect" ... the family had narrowly missed being blown up in 1956...

There is only so much one person can do in a lifetime, and she did quite a lot, and endured more than most of us are asked to. Furthermore, one can hardly blame HER for the funeral arrangements - that was up to her children. What was said at the service was presumably what they thought was appropriate for honoring her memory.

None of the King family are politicians as far as I know...

I am not blaming her...just an opportunity missed.

As MLK's widow, had she spoken against abortion it would have gotten some attention and perhaps had an impact.
