I think y'all are missing the point--the necklace can be replaced. But WHY was this child sitting outside ALONE in NYC while her mother 'shopped' inside?!?!

When I first heard this story, and the word 'snatched', I thought it was the girl being kidnapped--thank God in heaven that she wasn't, and shame on her mother for leaving her outside alone in a city known for it's criminal element.

I certainly do give a "rats arse" as to what color skin this perp has...this was a tiny little child sitting on a bench. I want the most detailed description I can get. I want to be able to eliminate potential suspects with the blink of an eye, I want to be able to zero in on ONLY black males 17-25. That is who hurt this child, not racism or bigotry, just the facts, ma'am!

Where in the hell is your common sense?

Hunington Park is definetly a Latino area, it always has been.

Many Mexican Gang bangers in that part of L.A

Yep, that really narrows it down.  </eyeroll>

My only problem is that many posters have already "predetermined" the "perp" HAS to be black.

Sorry, I misheard that this happened in NYC, apparently it was in LA. Still, CPS needs to be having a talk with that mother.

She was making a point that some of the people on this thread were assuming that this criminal was black. In fact, I would argue he was more likely Latino. You however felt the need to ask

Where the hell is your common sense?

I can assure you, sir, the police detectives know damn well the race of this perp. The outrage should be directed at the news media for not reporting the race due to PC cowardice. Unless, You Sir, need to be informed of the exact specifics of an at loose criminal to feed your vigilante fetish.

You seem to misunderstand that I would, indeed, want to know the exact specific description of the suspect. I do, indeed, blame the media, not LEO for the PC cowardice when it comes to this kind of reporting.

Think Chief Moose of MD. If he had released the correct description of those two sicko snipers, some of the victims might not have been murdered. I often wonder why nobody ever investigated that case of race filtering more thoroughly. Once again, common sense is right out the window.
