Also, I agree with some here that if a contestant has an "in" already in this business, that should keep them from being able to get this far and allow for others not so fortunate to compete instead. It would make the competition more challenging, I think.

What's wrong with letting the best person win? Winning can do a lot more for a career than having an 'in' in the music industry. Of course as Fantasia and Rubin showed, winning doesn't necessarily guarantee success.

As long as we are getting after some of these women, I have a question. Am I the only one that thought Fantasia dressed sleezy? I mean, they would show clips of her at church singing, and she spoke about church a lot, yet she just seemed to dress so sleezy all the time, half falling out of her clothes. Just wondering if anyone else thought that?
