I have not seen the show (wife is out and we have it on Tivo) but it shouldn't surprise anyone that the "judges" are easy on Ace. He'd sell records because he works the target demographic. It doesn't matter if he can sing. They have computers for that...

Having lived in Boulder and by Austin Texas...I think Texas singers are MUCH better....however, in this contest, I like North Carolina singers...if that is where Chris is from..lol

How could Simon give G'ayce a pass on that POS and yet rag on Chicken Little, Peter Brady and Bucky? Because Pee Wee and Wonder years are the low guys on the Idol totem pole. It's in the show's interest to keep Ace around for as long as possible.
