Still better to be outspoken about them, whatever they are. If you're excited about them, that can make them interesting to whoever you're talking to. Just agreeing with everything someone else says makes a guy look desperate...and weak. IMO.

Kinda like how the best teachers tend to be those who are excited about what they're teaching and pass on that enthusiasm to students - though that's not a perfect example, I know.

Well, it depends on what we're talking about. If it's political beliefs, then I can broaden your mind and make you see things in a new perspective. If you're into political beliefs. But if we're talking about MY interests, such as music, movies, etc...I tend to bore and confuse people.
