I guess it takes all kinds....
Sigh. As the northeastern urban conservative I constantly find myself defending New York and Boston as great places to live. It may be hard to imagine, but the political affiliation of the majority of your neighbors is not necessarily the most important thing about where you live. All of my neighbors in my brownstone are very liberal/democratic. I happen to like them all, even when we argue about Iraq until we're blue in the face.
In more serious news...DAMn I could go for a sack of sliders right now.
Remember that I live in Washington State, which make New York look sane in most regards (except for the gun laws).
