"Anyone who couldn't tell Liberace was gay back in the 60s needed a major adjustment to their gaydar."

But, but, but....gays weren't invented yet, were they?

I mean, it was well into the 1980s when Mother-In-Law asked me, "what is a homosectional?". And about the same time my own Mother asked me, "What is it those queer people do, anyway?" Both gray haired Grandmas were deadly serious.

Remember that both Paul Lynde and Liberace used to receive love letters from elderly ladies.

We had the same mother-in-law! Mine said "homosectionals" and "leezbians". 'Course, she was pretty deaf. According to my husband, she was nuts about Liberace.

I'm sure gaydar hadn't been invented when Liberace was around.
