THe selection show is on at 6 PM.
Pretty much the picks have been decided.
There is only some doubt whether ND or Oregon gets the final at-large berth.

You should be feeling a little better about OSU's loss to Texas earlier this year.
I didn't feel bad about it :)
And they were leading at halftime.
Then again, I am one of those guys who wishes nothing good for conference competitors, so what the hell am I saying?
Sorry all, this is what I get for watching the NFL instead of ABC.
The selection show is on now :)
All of em having winning records this year...cant wait for that "car care" and "mpc" bowl....bowls mean nothing anymore
I believe Barney Frank may just attend his very first American football game.
those don't mean anything except to the players, their families, gambling degenerates and NFL scouts.
But sometimes the bowls can be interesting.
I doubt it.
He's more likely to go to the game out in San Francisco....
I would prefer Nebraska played Michigan rather than the ChickenHawks in the Alamo Bowl.
If USC is effective with their running game against Texas, they win.
If they have problems running against Texas and have to do it on passes, it will be a contest.
Well I am right, its official it will be NU vs MU in the Alamo Bowl per ABC and Nebraska message boards.
Rose: USC - Texas
Hook em horns! It's time for Troy to fall.
Sugar: WVU - UGA
yawn
Orange: FSU-PSU
FSU getting in the BCS is a travesty, but that's how the cards fall. I have a soft spot for Paterno. He's the only voting corpse that votes Republican. Go Penn State!
Fiesta: OSU - ND
BRING IT ON!
why would you want Michigan?
Michigan is a better team than Iowa.
#1 vs. #2, #3 vs. #22?
See 17 above.
Its a matchup of septuagenarians, with Paterno turning 79 later this month and Bowden now 76. Bowden has 359 wins, six more than Paterno and both steered their teams to surprising comeback stories in 2005.
Bowden is 1-6 all-time against Paterno; he lost all six meetings as West Virginias coach in the early 1970s, and guided Florida State to a 24-17 victory over Penn State in the 1990 Blockbuster Bowl.
Its probably no surprise that both coaches have sparkling records in bowl games. Bowden is 19-8-1 all-time in bowls, a winning percentage of .696 that is the best in Division I-A history. Paterno is 20-10-1 in bowl games, plus is the only coach to ever win the Rose, Sugar, Fiesta, Orange and Cotton bowls.
So it is as expected. ND-OSU could be the most entertaining of the BCS bowls.
