I never understood the toilet seat argument. If anything the woman should remember to put the seat UP so the guy doesn't pee on it. If a guy wont get up to look for the remote control what makes you think he will bend over to lift the seat.
The spider on the other hand is a different story. My wife kills the spiders....I hate spiders.
