At least that's the word I got from the friend of someone who knows someone in the WH who knows.
Okay, I realize this is not a great source -- so please go easy -- but it does sound plausible and a great way for the White House to honor Rosa Parks, an authentic african-american heroine, by nominating Janice Rogers Brown as the first african-american woman to the Supreme Court.
Finally, some stratergy.
Fox News has reported that there will be no announcement today.
Put that in your democratic pipe...er... bong and smoke it!
you mean STRATEGERY : )))
It would be a terrible idea. Exploitation of a woman's death, a transparent political ploy -- and it would be called that, loudly.
That's something only a Democrat would be praised for.
Awesome post! BIG BUMP!!!
It sounds to me like one of those "possible but not probable." I would be totally surprised and somewhat taken if President Bush used the death of Rosa Parks to forward an agenda.
Considering how many rumors there are floating around right now, take it with a serious dose of salt.
Not at all. It would be a perfect, smooth way to show continutity.
"It would be a terrible idea. Exploitation of a woman's death, a transparent political ploy -- and it would be called that, loudly."
Only by the despicable and digusting democrats which is their standard modus operandi.
You're correct (in your incorrectness).
But it would be amusing to see the Dems twist themselves into knots over JRB, wouldn't it? I'd love for her to be nominated, proudly as a fellow Californian. Because she's well qualified. Not nominated for gender. Not nominated for skin color.
NO. Bad idea. Even if the nominee IS JRB. And I doubt that it is.
That would be disgusting... like Wellstone's funeral.
Oh yeah, by who? The useless, POS loser MSM/dems!
Who cares, go for it Mr. President!
Of course it's exploitation of the highest degree and the dems will shout it from the rooftops. So what? Play the game by the rules the other team plays by or lose. Not every time mind you, but the proper spin would make the nomination a shoe in.
No matter what the dems will pitch a fit over whoever the nominee is, so I say go for the touchdown instead of playing for the field goal this time.
Not to mention a pander.
And, in truth, it would be all of those things.
Please, Mr. President, don't go there.
True.....I wish Ted Olsen was the potential nominee. The only reason I can think of that the reason he is not is that he declined.
