"...Peyton's one of the best ever. Thanks for posting this article...."
No doubt about that. He will, however, be remembered as the only,(so far), starting UT quarterback to have lost to the University of Memphis Tigers. In a Sports Illustrated article at the end of his Vol career, he was asked if there was any one game he wanted to play over. His answer was the loss to the U of M Tigers. He is hell on wheels in the NFL. Wouldn't it be something is the Colts and Giants squared off in February? Could happen.

U of Memphis inspired to conquer that day. Tenn. was still actually the better team. Didn't Eli lose to Memphis too? Can't remember, would have to google that one.
Yes, would be interesting to see Colts play the Giants one day. Guess Archie would be neutral.

< looking at 2005 schedule to see if we have Memphis this year >
I've supported the Vols because orange runs in my blood but if the offensive coordinator is allowed to return next season then the University of Tennessee will lose me and probably many other fans. A team coming into the pre-season and ranked #3 and then losing its 4th SEC game before Nov 1 is unacceptable. Looks like Vanderbilt has a shot at getting a win over UT and breaking their 20+ year losing streak against Tennessee.
Signed
Totally disgusted
P.S. great tribute to Peyton.....Go Colts!
