Oh Jeez, can some of you just shut up? - Pukin on FReeper- negativity

Posted on 09/29/2005 8:06:13 AM PDT by Pukin Dog

Can’t a guy take a vacation without the nay-sayin ninnies of negativity taking over this place?

As the self-appointed optimist of this forum, I must say that I am more than a little P-Od over what I have been reading coming from the scared keyboards of some of you folks. You act as if someone stole your little Republican cookies and ate them in front of you.

Look, I know it’s not the best of times for Conservatives if you are concerned about spending or the protection of the borders. However, it escapes me why it seems impossible for some of you to take any note of the fact that despite everything you read and hear in the MSM today (including the Delay indictment) that we are winning on practically every measurable point.

Where is your confidence?

I make no bones of the fact that it makes me very happy whenever something occurs that makes liberals angry, sad, bitter or afraid, (which is true of them by default) , but liberal unease or unrest is not required for me to feel fine about the Conservative agenda.

It seems that whenever liberals have cause (no matter how stupid) to celebrate, it causes no end of angst and concern on this side of the aisle. Why is that? In fact I really enjoy the idea that liberals seem to think that they are playing a winning hand, because as long as they believe in that foolish notion, they won’t do the things that they actually could do to gain some ground against us.

But they won’t.

Why?

Because they are stupid, that’s why. And the fact that they are stupid should be enough to allow most of you to sleep better at night, like me. “Oh, you say the liberals are energized? Well, wake me when they get a clue, okay?”

I’ll begin to worry about liberals when they can actually propose a good idea for the country that does not involve raising my taxes, does not involve limiting my individual right to kill cute little animals and eat them, does not involve telling me what I can say, or who I can say it to, or is not about sharing the rights given me by the Constitution to non-citizens, or those who believe in two-penis marital bliss.

Oh yeah, I’m so scared.

You know when I’ll be scared? I’ll be scared when Democrats understand that lower tax rates increase government revenue. I’ll be scared when Democrats learn to love and appreciate the U.S. Military. It will frighten me when Democrats let Blacks off the plantation and let their children attend the schools of their choice with tax-supported dollars. It will frighten me when Democrats understand that their stupid little hybrid cars and eagle-killing windmills are not the answer to our energy needs, and begin to support drilling for oil wherever we find it in sufficient quantity.

Anyone heard a good idea from a Democrat (or liberal) lately? Let’s listen, shall we……

*crickets*

Nothing, folks. Nothing at all from these nuts.

But you do hear a lot of lies, don’t you? Now, if they were winning, would they have to lie about everything, all the time? Would they need to be propped up by a compliant media willing to turn their every thought into a reported attack on our side, no matter how ludicrous the accusation?

What is worse than the negativity from some of you is the stupid idea that the President actually needs to get down in the mud with these losers and fight back. Nothing could be more dumb and idea, and nothing would make the Democrats happier than to have the President out their responding to their worthless agenda.

Think about it like this:

If someone were to grab a knife and point it at you in anger, you would have righteous reason to kill them, would you not? Now, what if that person, instead of a knife, were to point a toothpick in your direction, as though they were going to kill you with that instead? Would you kill them, or just laugh at them?

You see, much of what you folks percieve as Democrat knives, are actually just little Democrat toothpicks, that cannot really harm anyone. A poke might sting a little, but how much damage could it really do, before you beat the toothpick wielding assailant to a bloody pulp?

I’ve said before, that the time to worry, is when the President is worried. Guess what, Freepers; he aint worried. Did anyone see any stress on the face of Tom Delay yesterday? I didn’t.

Try to remember sometimes that there is a big difference between heat and light. Democrats and liberals have lots of heat, but no light, which is why they are always running into things, crashing and burning. They get nowhere, they get nothing accomplished, they only give themselves more reason to be the pathetic, angry, bitter, victims they enjoy showing you every single day.

For once, if you are one of those who think that Bush needs better PR, ask yourself if you think he needs that PR in order for you to feel better each day, or because he needs to win more fights against Democrats. Then, ask yourself how many fights against Democrats our President has actually lost? Democrats decided long ago that they cant beat either Bush or Delay, to their best course of action would be to try to get rid of them as soon as they can. Democrats intend to make tons of accusations in the weeks and months to come, all geared towards legitmizign their stalwart opposition to the President’s agenda until they can find a way to replace him.

They are going to try to plant the idea in the populace that the Bush administation is corrupt and should not be trusted to lead. They intend to use that premise as an excuse to fillibuster the next Supreme court nominee (Luttig) and hold up every measure that they can to keep Bush from succeeding.

The Democrats are going to reach new levels of shame when they attempt to stop ANWAR drilling. It is going to be a fight for the ages, just you wait.

The point of all this, is that the only way that the Democrats can actually gain enough of a foothold to do damage to this administration, is if you negative bozos start parroting the liberals in your attacks on the President. If you are a finger-in-the-wind Republican, you are doing no one any favors when you fail to balance current obstructions and detours in the agenda with the unmistakable evidence that the Conservative agenda is still moving forward, winning victories all the time.

If you Freep solely for the purpose of sharing your insecurites with the world, just like a pussified liberal would do, I ask you to check yourself. If you cant sleep at night without sharing with all of us how you are more informed, more equipped and more able to fight this fight than the Bush administration, then don’t just check yourself, check yourself into a mental ward too.

Must I remind you that Republicans currently control about 85% of this government, and that Liberals control almost NOTHING? Do you need a scorecard to tell you that Al Gore is sitting somewhere eating twinkies in the dark, and John Kerry is still looking for swiss cheese on his cheesesteak, while George Bush is having breakfast in the White House?

And when the MSM tells you a lie, are you going to get mad and gripe like a little bitch, or are you going to steel your resolve and understand that if the other side needs to lie, then they have already lost the dammed war?

I don’t care if every day is a liberal flame-fest against the Conservative agenda, except for on election day. If it makes liberals happy to throw grenades at our side, let them come. Nobody ever one an election by screaming “DON’T VOTE FOR HIM!” You win elections be giving people reasons to VOTE FOR YOU!

If the liberals ever figure this out, then we might have cause for concern.

But they wont, because they are stupid.

And if you think we are losing, then so are you.

Instead of coming with even a lame policy the Libs are busy looking for Conservative Kryptonite. Liberals are intellectually lazy.

You mean if you write a thread and have YOUR NAME ON IT so people can choose whether or not to click and read further (knowing it's you) AHEAD OF TIME, and they STILL decide to click and read, and are disappointed (or something), they can STILL write Chicken Little posts and depress everyone? We don't have French benefits? What about beer for Laz?

WE’RE DOOMED!

John Kerry is still looking for swiss cheese on his cheesesteak....

I, myself, like to look at this when I get one of my John al-Ke'rry moments:

Only one complaint, Dog. "pussified liberal" is redundant.
Have a nice day, and please write more!

Good Post!!

When we can get the naysayers to realize that we may lose some of the small skirmishes but we are winning the culture ware, we will be better off.

Now if we can get some of the whining, spineless Republican Congressmen to understand that we are the majority party and to start using the power we elected them too, We can all sit down for a breather and have a margarita.

They need to Kick some a$$ and forget the names.

Thanks, free...

You know, it just occurred to me today that the sudden call for fiscal responsibility only happened in the wake of Katrina, where we're suddenly handed a $200 billion bill to repair the damage.

Two things on this:

1. Obviously, no one planned for a disaster that would swamp Louisiana, so the money is not available in the short term. The big wind over responsibility has more to do with republicans protecting their pork than it does any actual desire to implement restraint. It will now be tougher to get pork into the budget with this hanging over the country's head.

2. In the wake of Katrina, someone must have realized that 200 billion is going to a state that wouldn't elect a republican if you offered free hookers at the voting booth. That's 200 billion in the hands of the democratic machine of Louisiana without a republican to look over anyone's shoulder (Senator Vitter, btw, does not give me confidence).
This is tantamount to handing the democrats a blank check and it frightens most republicans.

I posted a humorous thread the other day about electing General Zod for President in 2008. He was the Kryptonian supervillain in the Superman movies. Johnny and Cindy are irrelevant. They are preaching to the choir.

Kerry will not get anywhere close to another nomination. Rule #1 in dimocratic circles: bury your dead. Rule #2: bury your wounded, too. Need proof of this? Ask yourself, where is Al Gore, who had peace, prosperity, and who had an election "stolen" from him by an "idiot" (who was so dumb he managed to get re-elected)who "manipulated the courts"?
If anyone should have gotten the nomination (assuming the democrats indulged in "fairness") it was Gore. Never mind Edwards, as he taught the dimwits an important lesson: stupid doesn't wash off.

As for Mrs. Sheehan, someone made a serious tactical mistake by not checking this woman's a) intelligence, b) sanity. This was a rush job -- get someone who was beyond reproach out there to slime Bush, and who is more beyond reproach than the grieving mother of a dead soldier? She is being kept alive by the Soros/Dean fringe of the dimwit party, which is a dead weight Hillary will have to bear. She really would not want to be seen with them too often, or be seen to be advancing their agenda, but she cannot do without their fundraising.

Why do you think Dean was elevated to the party chair? So that he couldn't run himself, but still manage to keep that amazing fundraising machine of his runing for the democrats.
With Dean co-opted, the money now all goes to Hilly.

Don't be fooled. Kery making noise and Cindy Sheehan running around merely keeps the cameras off Hillary for the time being.

"Johnny and Cindy are irrelevant."

You just don't get it.

hanoi kerry has more money than just about anyone on the left.

hanoi kerry needs to be thrown out of the US Seante now.

There is no need to impeach Hanoi Kerry from the US Senate

He is there illegally!

WAKEUP AMERICA!

For those who "forgot" what Hanoi Kerry
did in the past read on and learn the truth.

Hanoi Kerry was still a USNR officer while he:
gave false hearsay testimony to Congress
negotiated with the enemy
helped the US lose a war
abetted in the deaths of millions
created a hostile environment for all servicemen

Why is Kerry still in the US Senate?
This is in violation of
U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3
http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.amendmentxiv.html

And the FBI has proof of his treason.

Listen I don't mean to demean your service in Vietnam (my father served there, in the 28th Marines, and I have 10 yrs. service with the Navy as well), but like Kerry, you need a gentle reminder: that war is over. The Vietnam generation has a constant need to relive that period because it was the defining moment of their lives, and that is understandable, but it has become monotonous.

We have another war on our hands, you know. And just like Kerry, the more you mention the past, the more you tend to forget about the present. Kerry made himself irrelevant because he talked so much about a four-month stretch 35 years ago that he had no time to talk about anything else, and when he did, it was always something analogous to "I'm not Bush". Nine democrats ran for the presidency in their primaries in 2003-4 and not one of them had anything to say except "I'm not Bush". And they wonder why they lost?

Kerry is dead in the water. A non-factor. A mannequin holding up an expensive suit. That money is his wife's, not his. The party will not support Kerry as they want Hillary and he can expect no help from that quarter. You want Kerry nailed to the mat, go ahead and be my guest. I understand what he did to you guys, but he is no longer important to the political scene. He is to the political landscape now what a polyp is to your colon: you could have it removed, but unless it's deadly cancerous you can usually safely ignore it.

"but like Kerry, you need a gentle reminder: that war is over"

So I see you condone a traitor in the US Senate and we "should move on"

"We have another war on our hands, you know."

And what do YOU do about the new war.

Check my FR Profile to see what I have been doing since Oct 2001

I suggest you get away from the keyboard and do something
other than bury yourself with false facts
about the enemies in the US.
