I basically zombied out during the love scenes and enjoyed watching the special effects. I think they could make another couple of hundred million if they did a special DVD release taking all the scenes with Kate and Leo out, and just doing a straight story about the Titantic sinking (like their isn't enough drama in that?).
Worst movie I've ever seen about a quarter of was "Kids", a Walt Disney movie about a totally amoral teenage boy who's entire goal in life is to deflower virgins. He finds out he's got AIDS, and continues to go after the girls. You have to see it to appreciate how totally nihilistic it is. I could only handle about 1/2 hour of it.

The same director of "Kids" did an even WORSE movie called "Gummo" where most of the actors look like the banjo player from "Deliverence."

The love story was trite and lame and a total waste of time. When the ship was actually breaking apart the movie became really interesting, although that part lasted maybe 10 minutes.
Kids sounds like a real winner. I'll make a point of staying away from that one...

I don't think KIDS was a Walt Disney Film..
Lions Gate Films, Larry Clark as Director..
Though I do agree, this movie should SCARE any parents who think kids can be unsupervised for any length of time..
