In other news has multi-multi-millionaires Oprah, John Travolta or Tom Cruise offered their private planes, trains and customized "buses" to aid in the relief and relocation effort? Has Oprah offered her Indiana farm as a temporary shelter location?

Why doesn't Oprah help out the flood victims? She likes to give her audience presents; why not buy a house for the refugees in the Dome?
Hey Oprah - why did YOU for years allow your black brothers and sisters to live in New Orleans and near those levees? Why didn't you fight day and night to get them better housing?

The truth is that the local officials did not follow their own evacuation plans--they failed to use public transportation to get people out. It was their job in NO to get people out, not Washington's! How dare Oprah demand an apology from Washington. Will she pronounce the same words over Mayor Nagin or the governor? That Mayor sent those people to a superdome knowing that a category 5 hurricane had NO dead in its path. Fortunately it turned ever so slightly and lessened in intensity. They felt they had dodged a bullet. How could he have sent those people to that dome with only snacks for food under the information that was given on Sunday? What would be happening today if NO had taken a direct hit?
