Bush is turning this thing over to Bill Clinton... He is having Bubba take charge and take credit for the aid relief to those affected by Hurrican Katrina.
It's unthinkable that Reagan would have turned over something so potentially popular and important as this to Carter.
The Bushes are New England RINOS at their heart-- they have no idea how to stand tall in the saddle. That he would let Clinton (and Hillary by extension) seize the limelight shows what dupes they are.
This is just the latest in a long line of disappoinmtments.
Bush needs to figure out a way to stop giving his lunch money to the Democrats.
There are times when you should just shut up and keep your opinions to yourself. This is such a time.
at some point you have to stop the party nonsense, and realize this effects people from all walks of life, and all political parties.
I see no problems with this.
I have to disagree. BC and GHWB have the experience to pull this off.
What the crap are you talking about?????
STFU.
Give it a rest. I don't CARE.
Your complaining about the President having ex-presidents help with disaster relief?
well sure, but in the meantime, the DC Dems and the media are busy tarring Bush at every turn. where is their political "turn the other cheek" approach to this calamity?
I agree. Bad form.
I may be wrong but you sound just as political as the Dems who blamed Bush for all of this.
I think that if Clinton can get some of those Blue state libs to get off their butts and get into some action, it's a good thing.
Billory will be there no matter what with the MSM drolling on every word. Better to keep them under control.
This is the important work you think Bush should be doing instead of running the country?
Absurd.
Yeah. That should have been Priority One for W, doubtless. < /sarcasm>

and I love it that clinton looks like a little kid learning a lesson or two from an adult like poppy Bush
I'm glad to see he is sending the Bush/Clinton team. They did a superb job raising money for the tsunami victims. The more private money/assets we can raise, perhaps the less government money/assets are needed.
I have to agree with you on this. I makes you wonder who they're going to be traveling with in the '08 elections.
Sure, BUSH needs to exploit this tragedy for his own popularity...-sarc
Right now I am sure the President could care about the Washington Dims turning there cheeks, he is doing a bang up job of turning his own.
