JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Hootie and the Blowfish fans got to see the band play at a local Wal-Mart Supercenter. The band made an appearance to sign autographs at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Atlantic and Kernan Boulevards around noon today. They gave a preview performance from their new album "Looking for Lucky".
They will also be performing tonight at the Florida Theater.
Is it one of those Wal-Marts with a mini-Burger King inside?
I just pulled my old Hootie cd out the other day for a listen. Good stuff.
Was Dan Rather driving their limo...
I have no idea what the political thinking is for this group. As Laura Ingraham would say, "Shut Up And Sing".
They're still around? Geez...
They made some decent stuff in the mid-90's. They were a welcome change of pace from rap and depressed white guys.
They are liberals. Darius Rucker et al. I played at a Wal Mart several years ago when their CD was #1. How times change.
Winner! LOL!
Generic frat rock. I'm going to stop by that Walmart again in 5 yrs to see Dave Matthews Band.
