Hidden deep in the rainforests of Central America, stand the ruins of an ancient civilization that once prospered, and then vanished. These were the Maya people, and this is the country of Guatemala.

These stunning cities of the past stand as clues to a mystery thousands of years old. While Europe was in the dark ages, it was the Maya who harnessed the knowledge of the stars, and the celestial movements, to create a mystical union of man, nature and the gods. It was a world of great kings, elaborate ceremonies, fierce battles, and even human sacrifice.

18 Survivors will be marooned within this mysterious and rugged terrain.

For the first time, the castaways will actually live within the ruins of a vanished civilization, and they will be forced to embrace the ancient Maya lifestyle.

I really don't want to start a pre-thread. The show itself starts in about 6 weeks and I need that time to prepare some things ;)

And Steph has to know that if she goes to the Final Two with any other woman sitting beside her, then that other woman is going to win...

At this point, I think Steph's head is so big and she's so full of herself, this hasn't even occured to her.
On the other hand, she might think that ANYBODY sitting next to her in the final two (regardless of gender) puts her at a disadvantage. But to be honest, this is giving Steph credit that she doesn't deserve. So I'll stick with her ego being too big to even think of this point.

I totally believed your theory so don't worry about it. :) Personally I believe it is more fun to post before you have coffee because most of the best conspiracy theories evolve when that happens. I hope Lydia or StephaME loses tonight.

And the boo hooing begins over people that they haven't seen for what? 30 days.....? Seems particularly shallow considering that members of our armed forces are fighting and dying in Iraq, many not having seen their family members for months or longer.

I seem to remember making a similar statement back during Survivor: Thailand and got "How could you be so insensitive?" from a number of FReepers. (Many of whom are no longer FReepers)

But for what its worth, I echo your sentiments completely.
