G'nad and I were just sitting here and reading your post...you know you are in our thoughts and prayers and we're so glad you're there with him.

He's facing a rapid decline in health due to an undiscovered (until last night) and virulent strain of cancer.
He was out happily grocery shopping on Sunday and tonight he does not know what year it is.
The only indication anything was wrong was his complaint of a constant pain on his lower back towards one side.
Needless to say, my family has been taken by complete surprise and are still trying to sort out how to take all of this in.
He's finally talking again, but has very little lucidity.
*sigh*
I just wanted to let you all know what was going on because you're the bestest friends I've got.
PLEASE don't let this ruin the mood of the thread. Happiness is in short supply in my neck of the woods right now and I'd hope to always find a smile and laugh in here!
