ENOUGH IS ENOUGH CAN WE SUED MEDIA FOR PUTTING AMERICANS HOMES AND LIVES IN DANGER?(Vanity)
Latest on Newsweek's Treasonous Koran Scandal ^

Posted on 05/15/2005 8:45:51 PM PDT by restornu

Is it possible to bring a Civil Law suit against Negligent Media.

For years these foolish Snot Nose Punks have been creating and projecting our home the USA to the world to hate us.

Our soldiers is someone child, husband or parent and innocent citizens have become targets and those who are over seas to help, are targets and a few have had their heads cut off for being American!

This generation of reporters who stir up hate around the world towards America for their personal bias have not a clue what the future fall out will be from their stupidity!

As far as I am concern they have been skirting the edge for years and now have for the year gone beyond the mark!

They are guilty of negligence and putting this nation and it citizens in danger!

IMHO

I'm ready for a class-action lawsuit against Newspeak on behalf of the victims of the Mohammedan rage in Afgahnistan and elsewhere.

Why not expand this to us at home? Let's put Newspeak out of business.

I agree it should be for the victims and family members who suffered from this outrages ingorants and not only Newsweek but others media outlets who participate in this kind of carelessness, they put our Government, Country, and Lives in danger so they can get gain be it political, and to over throw this nation Sovereignty!

I sure like to cost them so much money that they will never venture into this area again or run them out of business if need be!

WGAS? Newsweek is just doing what Newsweek does.

If Newsweek hadn't run with the story, somebody else would have. They're all mercenary scumbags.

The REAL question is this: Who is the Richard Clarke wannabee that fed them this story? What is his name?

Newsweek didn't take an oath to the Constitution. The Bag-O-Sh!t "administration official" sure as hell did, though.

You want to get mad at somebody, get mad at the government employee(s) who are, once again, talking out of school. Getting mad at Newsweek is about as useful as getting mad at the maggots in the bottom of your trash can.

Oh, and I'm sorry if I came down a bit hard on the notion of suing Newsweek.

It's just I think the real bad actor here is that nitwit government official who's been giggling over the mess he caused.

I'd rather see a case brought to make Newsweek reveal their sources.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

As long as they don't lie or say classified information that directly affects national security, there is nothing we can do legally. The laws against yelling "fire" in a crowded theater or inciting riots will not apply. The purpose of those laws is to prevent people from doing irrational dangerous acts on a whim, not through deliberate acts. The people who are hating America because of our media have had hours, days, months, and years to absorb the information. What they are doing is completely intentional (though misguided).

Thank you for putting it in the proper perspective....my real beef is all the various crap we receive as news when it is gossip or heresay.......

Dingy Harry and gang, their water carriers who say print or say anything in the media to promote their agenda....with out a thought of who could get hurt in the process....like our soldiers, a private citizen, or through ignorance a whole country could be malign!

Even to repeat that another nation sacred writtings were trashed or flush down a toilet was reckless....it should have been carefully examined and respectfully spoken about.....as not to cause harm to the innocent!

Michael Isikoff is an oblivious, thoughtless jerk!

This is what is wrong with those in politics, corporartion and the media today's generation do not think about what they say could harm many......just from their free speech.....it is gift that this nation has but so many abuse it by their lack self-control as to weight the situation if I do or say this who or what could it effect.....
