I have begun attacking mine with combo meds and not just individual pain relievers. Yes, I know the concerns. I have consulted doctors on this. It is just that aspirin alone does not get it. Today is day #6.
I'm glad yours is on the way out. BTW, I've never had the wavy lines or aura which you seem to get.

I used to get
just the wavy lines (aura) and not the headache. Until last fall. Now I get the whole wonderful package.
I sincerely hope it never happens again while I am playing. Luckily I was very familiar with most of what we did because I was doing it mainly from memory. The one hymn which was new to me, I struggled with a bit. It would be awful to have that happen in the middle of an important recital or something.
I used the headache remedy the doc gave me, plus the 2 he gave me for my back. I don't know which one did the trick; I think it was the combination.
I don't care what it was; just so it worked.

From your link:
Couric had such an unnaturally high level of respect and popularity a few years ago that it was impossible to last, Tyndall said. "All she's gone from is being the perfect superstar to being just really good," he said.

Very saddened to hear of Sam Mills passing. He was one of the best Saints ever.
