And some call this "art".

An artwork containing mock 37-cent stamps showing President Bush with a revolver pointed at his head is part of an exhibit at Columbia College's Glass Curtain Gallery titled 'Axis of Evil, the Secret History of Sin' Tuesday, April, 12, 2005 in Chicago. The exhibit captured the attention of the Secret Service who sent agents to inspect the works last week according to gallery officials.

Someone please tell me how this crap is considered art. Imagine a picture of Martin Luther King with a noose wrapped around his neck and the word "Fraud" printed under it. Would that too be considered "art" or hate speech?
One thing I learned in my personal study of arts is that those that can, do. Those that cant, "shock" and claim its art.
Sorry but crap like this gets my blood boiling.
I got your "art" right here Columbia! Wast of ink and wall space.

Why don't these protesters do something intelligent -- and maybe they'd make some converts. One juvenile stunt after another is not convincing argument for their positions -- even if they are the editor of the local newspaper or congressional representative.

Of course it's art. It's bad art, but it's art.

Imagine a picture of Martin Luther King with a noose wrapped around his neck and the word "Fraud" printed under it. Would that too be considered "art" or hate speech? The mouth-breathing moonbats over at lewrockwell.com will think of that as a masterpiece of art.

It's not art, but it's also not something that Secret Service agents should be wasting their time on. In this country, people have a right to express their ideas, no matter how idiotic. Government agents showing up to "inspect" a negative expression against a government leader, which is clearly being done in the context of "art", and not an actual threat to carry out what is depicted, smacks of totalitarianism.

I hope the Secret Service did more than just go and check it out. Bring back the sedition act and start putting these punks away.
