Do you consider Randal Terry an asset? I'm just not sure about him. I don't know enough about him, but there were quite a few that seemsed to think he was opportunistic. Is there anyone else that might do a better job? My first thought was Alan Dershowitz. He sometimes does pro bono and he supported Terri's right to life.
I would NOT bring him in. But it is wise to make a phone call and get advice. He has a lot of cotacts, and that would be the purpose of the call.
