Thanks for digging up that info and bringing a measure of sanity to this thread, BUT . . . how the h#!! do a bunch of random busybodies from some internet forum have a right to all this private family information????

Well I'm sure the family sent it out into cyberspace. had to come form Mae's family.

In the article, the e-mail address given as a contact is the nephew. I jsut wrote to him BTW.

Looks to me liket he family was exasperated and asked for help. 'Nothin more to it than that, is my guesss.

If this was memorialized in a Court order, then it probably is a public record. Depending on the state, you might be surprised at what you can find in Court records, many of which are available to the public. As for the "random busybodies," if I were in the position of this elderly woman or her siblings, I'd be very grateful that there still are such "busybodies" in the world to look out for another person who needs help.
