From what I heard, Ken tried to get the MSM involved, but they ignored the story. Maybe, they didn't want to touch it because all during Terri's murder, they kept shoving in our faces the importance of having a living will. Then, less than a week or two goes by and we have a woman who's being denied nutrition in spite of her living will. A number of people here bombarded the MSM with information regarding Mae's plight, and we were totally snubbed.
I think Ken was very smart to run straight to blogsfor terri. They have their finger on the pulse of this sort of thing better than anyone, and they have a number of contacts and supporters. If anyone had the power to blow the lid off this, it would be blogsforterri and Ken was very smart to go to them.
Too bad he's a Dem and not a Republican, though. Because, then he would've known that FR should've also been at the top of his list of powerhouses he could run to for help. (BTW, I don't think Ken cared one bit about politics at this point. I think he was desperate to save his aunt and would've gratefully accepted help from any source that was willing and able to lend a hand.)

I hope there is big litigation on this - I think the nephew aught to see to it - it's the only way these people will stop this - if they get hit and punished. Word will start to spread and that's how we get the foot in the door to get this to the public and stopped. The public is blind, deaf and dumb becasue they simply cannot beleive such evil could exist HERE in the US. And I'm sure, in the early 30's, neither did the German people - until it was too late.
Did I send you this new link yet? We all need to save this in our "cause/alert file" - It's a reprinted article from a 1949 edition of the New England Medical Journal - on this news/Activism thread:

Chilling - we have a lot of work to do!

True, that. If he had waited for Jesse Jackson and the Dems to help him, he'd be posting the funeral info now. Seems to me that the Left wants you to help them, but when it's time to give back, they're somewhere else--this I know because I used to be one.
Meanwhile, does anyone know how Ken's mother is doing?

When Minnesota policeman Sgt. David Mack was shot in the line of duty in 1979, Dr. Ronald Cranford diagnosed his patient as being in a "persistent vegetative state," never to regain "cognitive, sapient functioning." Dr. Cranford was ready to end his patient's life, but 20 months after the shooting, Sgt. Mack regained consciousness and nearly all of his mental ability.
Conley Holbrook was in a coma for eight years. On February 25, 1991 he woke up. Were eight years missing from his life? Apparently not because 26-year old Conley was able to call each of his relatives by name, including the small children who were born while he was unconscious. He knew what was happening around him, he just couldn't communicate.
Thank you. Bookmarked.
I have been and will continue to research the euthanasia movement in great depth. I want to know everything. I want to know the identities of all the major and minor players in the movement. I want to know exactly what laws they've had enacted in EVERY single US state, and I want to know what new laws they're currently lobbying for. They've operated under the cover of darkness for far too long. Let's see how well they do with a spotlight shining in their faces.
In order to fight the enemy, one must know the enemy: who he is and how he operates. Far too many people aren't even aware that this enemy even exists. Before the Terri Schiavo fight, I didn't know that the euthanasia movement was as large, influential, and as organized as it is, and I am usually pretty well informed.
This is what you are up against. Dr Cranford, Terri's 'doctor' who testified she was PVS.
