Don't forget the 90% of Freepers who saw the wrong in this immediately. (I know that would make for an awfully long list.)
"If we shot everybody who didn't do all they could - there would be nobody left standing."
I would not be left standing. I could have done more earlier. FReegards....
Agreed. Laura cares about the truth...not just entertaining the masses.
Yeah, Savage's Rush-bashing gets on my nerves too. Perhaps he should focus more on his own program. But I still think he had a lot of good interviews, helped tremendously with the information blitz, and helped people care. At least Savage wasn't anything like Boortz. FReegards....
Me, too.
I am sure that someone else has had this brain fart before. Freepers, conservatives, libertarians, any concerned citizen who wants to learn more about how government works (a civics class basically), the Constitution, the Supreme Court, Federalist Papers, etc etc. should organize into small groups of 10-25 once a week either around a person who will act as teacher ( I am sure there are many gifted folks among us) or more informally as a study group. It has been my experience that most people know diddly about politics and most of their opinions are based on emotion (even when they're on the right side of things). Politicians on both the right and left play upon this ignorance. Personally I think the Democrats have more of a vested interest in keeping people ignorant but the Republicans are not entirely blameless either. I really would like some feedback on this...or if it's happening already let me in on it. I am in NYC (I know, a state with a sickly hue of blue)....but give me a break.
I love Laura
"And our own Mark Levin"
One of the most important ones, is our Mark.
Man is anyone listening to this lawyer on Rush now? What a piece of garbage, using this opportunity to bash the Schindler's priest. This is NAUSEATING.
Beyond nauseating. BEYOND.
MAN this guy is a media whore--It's all about ME ME ME! I love his justification of Schiavo keeping her family out at the moment of her death--what a guy!
Rush is letting Felos have it now.
"Right, and I'm getting tired of hearing him call Rush, "Hush Bimbo". I enjoy calling lib-dem garbage names, but not one of our own."
Ditto that (11th commandment).
Yes to it all for sure. And no, the pubbies are not entirely blameless. None of us ever are. But on the whole, I believe the right is more right on things than the current left could ever be......
PS - I'm in NY too, but upstate in the red. It's too bad there is so much blue in NYC. It drags the state down (politically). It could very easily be a much better place if it tried.
Who's the Toronto journalist Rush mentioned early in his program today? Did you make note of her name or paper? She had unearthed conflict-of-interest stories our MSM assiduously ignores in its its thirst to dig up putative dirt on Tom DeLay.
Thanks for posting that ...
My God, I hurt so badly for those people. What have we done?
Rush, we love you!!! Thanks for being such a staunch supporter of life.
I listen to a radio station out of Dayton that carries Boortz daily. The most recent commercial for his program has an audio of Boortz slamming a person from Dayton who disagreed with him on the Schiavo case. He names the person. It is a despicable, totally unprofessional series of put-downs about how some people are just not intelligent enough to listen to his program. He takes the man to task for saying that Boortz is for abortion. Boortz says he is pro-choice and that the man is too stupid to understand the difference. Frankly, I don't understand the radio station even allowing such a commercial. It is an insult to any listener that has a moral compass. Boortz is fine when he speaks about taxes (fair tax, etc.) but he stinks on moral issues.
