Much of the "internal bickering" was over whether Judge Greer did anything wrong at all. There's no point in saying "let's all stop arguing and simply agree with me".

Exactly. The ones who insist that Greer was right do not have the best interests of this country at heart, in my opinion. If Greer and his crew have their way, we will become what we fought in WWII. I do not want that for my country.
For instance, Judge Greer obstructing an ongoing congressional investigation? That is the first thing that comes to mind...
