How Well Can You Spell?

Challenge yourself. How many words can you spell correctly?

This were words used during this weekends Colorado State Spelling Bee. The boy who won had only been studying for the bee since the beginning of February.

Furbelow == mighty cold (-4)

4 out of 10 just leaving the defaults, 8 with the words I did know...

Of course everyone realizes that we're cheating a little bit on this test. The kid's did not get to look at variations of the words and choose one...they actually had to spell it from scratch.

The winning word was 'stupefacient'. I used a series of words like that just last week when referring to someone at DU as 'stupid face' :-)

Not bad. I got 8 out of 10. I missed "schussboomer" and "trierarchy." Instead I chose "schusboomer" & "triarchy."
