QUOTE: "Running is very conducive to someone who's goal-oriented -- if you want to set goals, like running the marathon or being self-disciplined. I think it's also reinforced that I'm not a fancy, froufrou person." -Daryn Kagan
BIOGRAPHY
Daryn Kagan was born on January 26, 1963, in Southern California, and grew up in Los Angeles. After high school she attended Stanford University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in communications and American studies. She then began her broadcasting career in Santa Barbara, California, where she worked as a reporter and anchor for KEYT-TV in the mid-'80s. Daryn's next reporting gig was at KTVK-TV in Phoenix, Arizona. During her five years with the station, Daryn was nominated for a handful of local Emmys and was selected as top reporter in the seven-state Rocky Mountain region.
DARYN KAGAN JOINS CNN
In July of 1994, Daryn began her affiliation with CNN when she became an anchor and reporter for CNN/Sports Illustrated, a 24-hour sports news network. During this time, she also made her debut appearances on CNN, providing sports updates during the morning broadcasts.
Daryn eventually moved on to a higher profile job as anchor of CNN's Live This Morning. During the 2000 presidential election campaign, she interviewed the candidates and reported live from the floor of the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles. In 2001, Daryn became host of the network's People in the News program.
DARYN HOSTS LIVE TODAY
In 2002, Daryn became the co-host of CNN Live Today, a late-morning news program. In May of that same year, she joined then-U.S. Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill and U2's Bono on a 10-day trip through Ethiopia, Uganda, Ghana, and South Africa, reporting on the pair's efforts to assess development assistance programs for the region. In October, she reported live on location from Maryland and Virginia, covering the manhunt for the D.C. area sniper.
In March of 2003, Daryn journeyed to the Middle East to report on Operation Iraqi Freedom. During her month-long stay in Kuwait, she shed light on the prospect of chemical warfare and profiled the humanitarian aid efforts. Later that year, she went to her native Southern California to report on fall wildfires.
DARYN KAGAN AND RUSH LIMBAUGH
In 2004, The Washington Post reported that Daryn was dating right-wing radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh. The romantic pairing of the ultraconservative Limbaugh and Daryn, a prominent member of the liberal-leaning media, seemed like a match dreamt up for a Saturday Night Live skit. Rumors of the couple's upcoming wedding have been circulating, although no dates have yet been confirmed.
What else do you need to know?
Is she a lib??
I dont' know if she's a lib or not. I'm guessing no.
Rush DOES have good taste - va va voom!
ZOINKS! What a pic.
Who is Rsuh ?
Sorry couldn't help myself.
Man hands, blue eyeshadow, .... YUCK. too bad for Rush that Angie Harmon is taken.
Most of the time, I can understand why men find certain women attractive. This one I don't get. She looks like a brunette Joan Rivers.
She's got a touch of masculinity, which alot of guys find attractive. But Joan Rivers, Yikes.
LOL Sorry. I saw her picture and Joan Rivers just popped into my head.
Regarding the touch of masculinity, you're right. She does have that. And it's funny that you said that because there was a thread posted last night about a study that found that a lot of women are attracted to men with somewhat feminine faces.
Well, I guess lotsa women like pretty boys like Brad Pitts and Leonardo DiCaprio. Fortunatly my wife prefers a gruffer type! But some women are very feminine and pretty while others are more "handsome" (kinda like Hillary Swank). I think Daryn is the latter, tho she does that red dress justice!
Prince William looks just like his mom and women everywhere think he's attractive.
Man Hands because her nails are short?
I agree with your wife. I don't like pretty boys either. Why would I want to be with a man who is prettier than I am?
Except for her shoulders which look kind of broad to me, she does look good in that dress. It's her face that I don't think is attractive. But I'm not a guy, so I'm probably not qualified to comment. :-)
I would say that he's cute in a little boy way, but I don't find him sexually attractive. He's just too pretty for me.
Did you just make that up as you were posting.
No thanks!
I agree with your wife. Those are pretty boys.
"Did you just make that up as you were posting?"

No, years of research exploring feminine wiles of all types leads me to this conclusion. (Didn't get married 'til nearly 40 YO, so I did alot of "research").
Where many guys like the heavy-makeup, huge hooters, Pamela Andeson types, my research says that Tomboyish chicks are highly prized as well. Little or no makeup, athletic builds, ability to wrestle, no interest in glamour mags, chew Tobacco while fishing etc. Works for me, anyway.
i totally agree with you. i don't think she is attractive at all. a nice body perhaps, but she isn't attractive, IMO.
