I did hear somewhere (in a movie..) about ancient egyptians
making up symbols to use as personal identification.
So maybe a few of the symbols are real, and the last weird one is a tag. But it sure doesnt look creative enough to be a tag.
Making up symbols as personal ID was used near the start of writing – signet rings pressed on clay, so it is reasonable. Maybe the taggers way back when weren’t as creative as today’s?
