Is it(the lighted toy) something that could easily be cracked if it fell off a counter?
As well as being noisy, I thought it could possibly be cracked/broken if it fell from the counter onto the tile floor, so I put it in the appliance garage with the can opener and toaster, which has a tambour door-that way, clever Kitty boy can't get to it to knock it onto the floor-he and Husky girl only get that toy to play with as long as I'm supervising...
