AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1432) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 22, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 12/22/2004 4:22:16 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The deadliest raid on Coalition forces in Iraq occurred yesterday when a 122mm rocket struck a mess tent in Mosul. Twenty-two people are confirmed dead, including 20 Americans, and 66 are wounded--42 of these were American service members.

The Dow has hit a 3 1/2 year high. Question for the left--who's been President that whole time?

And North Korea is stated to be the only country on Earth free of AIDS, according to a North Korean newspaper, the Pyongyang Time.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

You've been pretty lucky with your weather so far haven't you?

Mom (in KS) has only had a dusting of *S*. But she's a rare one. She wants the *S*, she's always liked the winter months. Probably more now that she's in an apartment and has no sidewalks and driveway to clear off.

DollyCali was also in there and somewhere she posted something like: "Yikes look st the time!"
It was pure LOL!
I was getting posts even at 11 am PST next day!
It seems people at FR dont sleep.

Good morning.

I have lunch with a friend and then my Pete and I are going shopping for all the groceries and it's pouring rain. Maybe today isn't a good day for the gym. Surely I've read that working out when it's raining isn't good for you:-)

Everybody ready for Christmas? I THINK I'm ready but there's always some little thing...

Merry Christmas, Northern Yankee. How's the weather there? Our CT family was expecting a tad of snow the other day but when we called, they were all out shopping so perhaps it never materialized.

No, they don't. Many times when I can't sleep, I'll turn the computer on, and find someone here.

How's the weather there?

-11, with a high of 0 today.

Thankfully we have a fireplace which will be blazing for most of the day, as we prepare for Christmas!

Oh, my. That IS cold. It's about 60 here but it feels cold because it's raining. LOL

It's going to get colder here for Christmas which is good because with a houseful of people and the oven going it will get too warm in here otherwise.

Just got in.. well, it is something else outside. My drive way is wet, heavy snow between my knee & hip high. Cant imagine how high it would have been if it were the light fluffy stuff.

the plowed stuff in apron is about 5'. poor Oliver had to lunge, jump thru it in my path as he is shorter than the snow depth.. . He had a great time tough , we walked up & down the street a bit & then I took an easy path (I thought) behind some homes at the edge of ravine. I went into a hole above my head (a tree must have toppled over into the valley) and I found the root hole.. But it was all fun. My clothes were soaking wet because it is a mushy fall now. Not rain & not snow.

Molly how much do you have?

Many folks I know were to do their travel today. I sure hope if they decide to go (the on-line weather says it is hazardous/emergency only recommendation) they will stay safe

THIS IS THE MAIN ROAD THROUGH THIS ENTIRE REGION.

News Media is having people call in from cars. Serious situation here in Western KY. Temperatures are falling into the lower teens and single digits. They are attempting to get people out.

FNC just showed Brian Kilmeade's book about sports. We bought it for my dad and it looks really good. Although I do question his judgement with putting John Kerry playing some sport on the cover...

Actually the USA is like your country.. quite a few time zones.. and as you have prolly seen, many are from other countries & time zones. But anytime one is up there are usually other FReepers up & posting. Some of us are insominac s on occasion & some folks work various evening/night shifts. To find the current active thread I often go to the Latest Posts on the Home Page of FR.(Left side sidebar area)

Isn't that frightening, kassie? 40 miles of backed up cars...people will surely run out of gas. I hope the National Guard can get through quickly to help.

Are you feeling organized for Christmas, kassie?
