Congressman Tom Tancredo for president in 2008!
December 7, 2004 | ImmigrationReformActivist

Congressman Tom Tancredo has the right idea on the issue of immigration. As I see it in a post 9-11 world immigration policy and enforcement thereof are inextricably linked. Protecting our borders is key to securing the homeland! Tom Tancredo has the right idea on immigration policy and enforcement. We must make the issue of immigration front and center now and during the race for president. To this end, in addition to starting a web based movement to encourage Tom Tancredo to run, I will also find a Democrat who understands and believes in securing our borders and start a web based movement encouraging him or her to run. Tancredo's website: http://www.house.gov/tancredo/

I don't want to give up on border control during this administration. It may be hopeless...but continue the fight here and now, cause we need it NOW!

Hillary's positioning herself on this issue, maybe you could draft her.

I do agree this is a serious issue. But ya gotta be careful what you ask for, you might get it.

Sanford/Tancredo would be a good ticket. I don't think Tom is electable at the top, but could make a decent running mate.

I can think of no better way to get Hillary Clinton elected, than to nominate Tom Tancredo. Most of the time his mouth runs about 600 miles ahead of his brain.

Sheesh.

Somebody responsible -- which Tom Tancredo is not. He does not play well with others, which is a must for an effective president. (And he's said too many stupid things, which is why he wouldn't make it past the first primary.)

I could see ol' Tom heading up the Reform party ticket, though -- which probably would help ol' Hillary.

I've not thought about it much, so I can't offer you an alternative name.

We need to find strong candidates, Dems and Republicans, to put this issue front and center. The hunt is on!

You might not agree with the post, but it is not silly (but it is a cute pic). The GOP continues to ignore a hot button issue for part if its base and runs the risk of motivating a third party candidate - Tancredo or someone else - if they don't address the problem.

Just as I was not cornered one way or the other about V. Fox getting into to office I don’t think it would matter to if Hillary Clinton were elected to be the president if it will be northern Mexico of which she will reign over, and unless some like Tancredo is put to run against her that is the state of affairs to be .

We have millions from Mexico, now and many more are on the way uncontrolled and what bothers me is that half of our population in my community are allowed to vote in both jurisdictions (dual citizens from US and Mexico) , while I am only allowed to vote in one, which will be for Tancredo..
