Mel Gibson May Buy Fiji Island
Newsmax ^ | Dec 2nd, 2004

Hollywood mega star Mel Gibson is considering buying a Fijian island.

The Australian Herald Sun paper reports that the Aussie-raised Gibson had been flown by helicopter to Mago Island which is on the market.

The Fiji Times reported first on Gibson's foray into island adventure. No doubt Mel is looking for a place as far away as possible from Hollywood's p.c. crowd.

Gibson could not be contacted for comment and was said to be staying with his family on an estate nearby.

Mago Island's asking price is $19 million.

It was described as having pristine ecology and terrain, rises to 500 feet on its eastern cliffs and fringed entirely by reefs, powder white beaches and turquoise lagoons.

* A complete village with 35 residents (all employees or their families), two room schoolhouse, plantation buildings, loading pier, roads, plantation facilities, owner's residence, manager's residence, 14 employees homes, office, laundry, butcher shop and store;

Does this make Gibson a feudal lord where his vassals are tied to him in a feudal contract?

Gibson's Vassals: "We pledge our loyalty to thee as you offer your investiture. Long live lord Mel Gibson!"

Can we send all the libs there to stay? Forever?

You jest?

There might be room enough for all the conservatives, but there isn't any island big enough for all the libs.

There also isn't an island big enough for those that don't know the difference.

Marlon Brando bought a tropical island to escape them all too. Of course he was a lefty like the rest of them, but a reclusive one!

He should build a Catholic college there! A genuinely Christian Christendom.

I suppose we'd be infringing on their civil liberties if we shoved them all onto a small island?

seriuously, is that only $19 million, to buy that? That seems like a steal (not that I am in a position to do it). It just seems like it would be much more expensive.

Mel went out on a limb to present GOD and Jesus Christ to the entire world he took alot of heat and gambled millions of his own dollars for Jesus, because he TRUSTED GOD with all his heart and in turn GOD has given Mel and his family a wonderful life..GOD honors his promises.....

I'll bet Michael Jackson wishes he had bought Mago and moved Neverland there. He could have played 'ruba' with the Mungo kids ..... and who would've known?
