The giant WR's dropped several balls in the first half.

Shockey had three himself.

Did anybody see A.J. Feeleys last minute interception pass to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?

I laughed so hard it hurt.

Yeah, they played really sloppy the first half.

I was suprised by the Carolina/Arizona game. Figured the Cards had that one.

The Colts just might go all the way this year! My flame-proof suit is on.

Well...a little objectivity on your part would be a good thing. First of all, one could say that you were lucky to get out with a win; that *sshole Emmons should have not taken that cheap shot on Vick. Could have been a different outcome.

Second, how many points did you guys score in the second half? That many, hmmm.

Look: I wish you guys well, and Vick is UNQUESTIONABLY one of the most spectacular players in the league, but you're not the 67 Packers just yet.

Consider it a good season if you get by the first round of the playoffs. I don't think you will...offense is good enough, but your defense will not be up to that level.

Well...a little objectivity on your part would be a good thing.

What could be more objective than....

"I was real impressed with Manning and the giants defense."

I didn't brag, I didn't claim the falcons dominated the giants. I didn't rub your nose in it. Quite frankly, I'm befuddled as to where your coming from.

But now that you've brought it up..

First of all, one could say that you were lucky to get out with a win; that *sshole Emmons should have not taken that cheap shot on Vick. Could have been a different outcome.

Yeah, and the falcons lost two turnovers due to penalties. If "ifs and buts" were candies and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas.

Second, how many points did you guys score in the second half? That many, hmmm.

Yep...The giants made excellent halftime defensive adjustments.

Look, I never claimed the falcons were the '67 packers. As a long suffering falcon fan(Since 1973), believe me, I am keeping my expectations low. Before the season, I figured 7-9 to 9-7 tops, maybe first round playoffs. Now, at 8-2, disaster would have to strike for the falcons not to sit out the first round.

And btw, the defense, and not the offense, has pretty much carried this team this year. The KC game was an anomaly...there were 6 defensive starters out for that game.

Oops...I believe I owe you an apology. I thought you were being sarcastic with the Manning/defense remark. It was just my mindset after the game.

A sincere apology to you. Good luck with the rest of the season. Ours is essentially through.

No hard feelings, but the remarks about Manning and the giants defense were sincere. Tiki Barber has my vote for the pro bowl.

I'm not the type to rub someone's nose because my team beat theirs. I've been a fan for way too long to act like that. I know that what comes around, goes around. I'm not just a falcon fan, I'm a football fan, be it NFL, College, high school, or Pop Warner. I will never disrespect a NFL player or team.

I apologize for my smart a$$ reply . As far as I'm concerned, we're cool.
