What I don't get is that in real life, those who end up knowing me in person tend to ask me for advice, as if I know anything useful..
I have a cartoon in my head for crying out loud, what kind of useful advice can come from that?!
(Somewhat of an exaggeration on the cartoon thingy, but not by much. That's where my humor comes from.)
I will sometimes read a book, and you can tell how interesting the book is to me by how much attention I pay to the outside world.
If you've just shouted my name behind me and I didn't flinch, I'm not on Earth, I'm in the book and busy but you might be able to leave a message at the turning of a page.
(Hopefully this doesn't sound familiar to you.)
