I take it you are hispanic? I am interested in your opinion - the hispanics who voted for Bush, what do you feel is their typical opinion on the illegal immigration issue?

I am a hispanic man who proudly voted for Bush in both elections. Though I am military, I also admit to not agreeing with him on some issues. What I respect about President Bush, is his integrity, his moral fiber, and most importantly, his conviction. He is a man driven by what is right, not by what will give him the highest poll numbers.

The immigration issue has to be handled carefully. Anytime there is a round up or law passed affecting immigrants, the spanish language media sensationalizes it and amkes the government look heavy handed. This makes people a little nervous. It should always be presented as proctecting our country, while respecting those who don't hurt anybody.
