Really, did Matt Lauer display shock and dismay? Did Perky Katie weep uncontrollably into a tissue?

I think I just became a Red Sox Fan. (Well through Nov. 2 anyway.)

Shhesh, I knew there was a reason I liked that guy besides the big gut check he showed in game 6. And I'm a Yankee fan.

Wanted to get this on quick...but here is more description.

Charlie Gibson was interviewing Curt Schilling and Charlie called him a warrior for playing through his injuries. Curt said he wasn't a warrior, the guys who are soldiers are warriors.

Just as the segments ends, Gibson lets Curt Schilling say good bye but instead he says, "remember to Vote, Vote Bush."

I grew up in Boston, so I had a great laugh when Schilling made the comment about how he would enjoy making 52,000 New Yorkers shut up. Then he made the "Kerry league" comment, and now this. It helps to restore my faith in professional athletes.

It would be awesome if the whole team endorsed Bush in front of the whole nation.I hope Shilling says it in every interview he does. If he gets any more after his endorsement.

He is possibly the most respected man in Boston after his Game 2, blood soaked sock heroics. I wonder what impact his statement, plus Kerry's Red Sox gaffes, will have on the election.

"Just as the segments ends, Gibson lets Curt Schilling say good bye but instead he says, "remember to Vote, Vote Bush."That's simply amazing!
What a plug for President Bush, and on a favorite show of the Dimocrat brigades.
Plenty of coffee hit the deck with that one. ;)
