and Bush did not hammer him on the DeGaulle reference by saying that Kerry was fixated on French participation. even though no amount of prodding will make Chirac send troops into Iraq. Indeed, that the French has just said again they will not. The most they will contribute is the forgiving of part of the Iraqi debt. Ditto the Germans. Then WHERE are the troops to come from?
