Well, you lost the ryder cup. What impressed me the most was the frendship between Langer and Sutton. Langer mentioned that he and Sutton were Christians first which was, I thought, amazing given these PC times.
Anyway, I already have tickets to Ryder cup 2006, so any freepers want a to have a Guinness with this Irish freeper in 2006, your most welcome.
I have to wait until 2006 to have a pint with ye?
Damn! ;-)
We'll beat them next time, dont worry.
I can have a pint with you anytime Happy. **(have to make to Wexford sometime)
Tiger, as usual, played better in the singles than in the team competition. (He's by far the best match-play player in the world). But his overall Ryder Cup overall record is still embarrassing.
We watched Tiger Woods the first day. The words he mouthed after a shot that went into a trap were obvious to us. No mention of this at all. Nike must be pleased. Nothing to admire at all.
Only one 'overall' there.
Btw, congrats to the Euros, who clearly kicked our sorry asses.
If the Ryder cup was a singels contest, I think the US would win every time (apart from my cousin Paul McGinley of course). Team play is not in their gift!
Not lately, at least. But the U.S. is 25 - 8 - 1 in Ryder Cup history, and that dominance wasn't all the result of great singles play.
Congrats to you and your cousin. .....He played terrific.
Cheers man, - wish I was there myself.
Par for the course for Tiger.
That said, it wasn't much of a contest this time around. After the first day, it was pretty much over. That was what was most disappointing. We were never in it. The Euros just beat the pants off of us. Other than that, what can I say? We lost, we stunk up the place this time around.
Any chance the rules can be changed to have the US do an honorary annexation of Fiji and the ROK? I'd like to see Vijay Singh amd K. J. Choi mixing it up with the other players out there.
