I need that scumbag's name so I can get more info on him. Was he an Iraqi? Where is he now, taking the eternal dirt nap?
Ramzi Yousef
You gotta be kidding me! Are you sure? Wasn't he the ringleader?
You have to be kidding me! Wasn't he the ringleader?
McDermott.......He seeks refuge outside the States. Same with Sandra O'Connor. She doesn't spend a single day in America during any which the USSC is not in session. She's off to Paris on the first available trans-oceanic executive jet before she gets her robe off.
O conner dosent live here ?
others held are Mahmoud Abouhalima also the driver for El Sayyed Nosair who shot Rabbi Kahane in NYC November 1990, Nidal Ayyed chemical engineer NYC who purchased the compressed hydrogen and other materials for making RDX, Ahmed Salema who rented the van, Ibrahim Gabrowney construction contracter (think he got 57 years), Rodney Hampton-El, who along with El Siddig Ali (security guard) plotted to blow up the Federal Plaza in NYC, the U.N. and I think the Lincoln or Holland Tunnel.
And of course the blink sheik Rahman.
(I'm doing this from memory so the names are as close as I can recall off the top of my head).
Long and complicated story...but the guy has major links to Iraq. Check the article by Laurie Mylroie IRAQ'S COMPLICITY IN TERRORISM . In it she details Yusef's murky background. Its quite interesting.
Musab Yasin--Iraqi with New Jersey apartment where Yousef first went.
Abdul Rahman Yasin--Musab's brother, led FBI to apartment where bomb was made; employee of Iraqi government; indicted fugitive, presently in Baghdad.
Here's a link to the whole article by Laurie Mylroie:
Here's another link that has alot of info:
I think the person you are looking for is "Abdul Rahman Yasin, an Iraqi-american born in the United States who had lived most of his life in Baghdad and retrned to the United States in Sept. 1992, six months before the bombing (1993 WTC). The same day that Salameth was arrested, Yasin was pickied up by New Jersey FBI in a sweep of sites asssociated with him. (Salameh had used Yasin's phone number on the Ryder rental application.) Yasin was quite helpful and cooperative, and the New Jersey FBI allowed him to leave their office that night. The next day Yasinleft the country for Jordan, where he stopped at the Iraqi embassy in Amman before traveling to Baghdad, where he remained. (In the spring of 2002, he was interviewed in Baghdad by CBS's 60 Minutes.)" From Laurie Mylroie - Bush vs. the Beltway, Pages 56-57.
Yousef is sitting in the high security federal prison in Florence(sp?), Colorado.
Nope.......O'Connor proudly lives in Europe somewhere, along with the secret service contingent which protects her. I had heard it was France, but I think it could be Belgium. I'm sure she maintains a residence here in the states for obvious tax purposes, but it is not her "home".
swell i thought she was one of the good ones
All things being relative........Perhaps. Symptomatic though of a downhill slide. I think she's one of the major proponents of granting world court bodies a foothold inside the American system.
