Discovery? History Channel? did a show on this a few years ago..
Showed DNA traces of australian origin in two females in South America..

Also pictographs of the invasion of bering straits migration into south america, and the "termination" of the existing tribes of australian/american population..
I found this story very interesting, sort of a reverse "kon-tiki" sort of thing..

This is the story I remember.. It was done for TV as well.. I thought it was History channel or Discovery.. ( BBC documentary )

The case for Australian "colonization" was well-made.
If Kon Tiki can make it going west, the Aussies could make it going east..
