Answering a call for Daily Prayer for Truth!

With the election coming at us soon and my work schedule being changed for a couple months it will be hard for me to post coffee in all the threads.
This will be a great place to have coffee, read the Word, and say a Prayer for Truth.

Please let me know if you want on ON the ping list.

Jesus echoed the words of the prophet. Although He had gentle words for penitent sinners, He gave a scathing rebuke to the haughty and self-righteous who wanted to live as they pleased. He was furious at two-faced religious leaders who talked a good talk but turned around and exploited their followers (Matthew 23:13-30).

Prayers of strength and courage to the Swift Boat Vets, that they may STAND FIRM.

Ephesians 6:

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, 15 and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE;

16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.

Heavenly Father,
I thank you for the grace and mercy you have shown and continue to show this country. I thank you for the Love and sacrifice that makes it possible for us to come to you in prayer. I thank you for the freedom afforded us to worship you in spirit and truth and for the freedom to pursue life, liberty, and happiness afforded us by you.

I ask that you will shut the mouth of the liars, as you shut the mouth of the lions and kept them from devouring your servant, Daniel. I ask that you will reveal the lies of the enemy of our souls AND reveal the truth.

I ask for wisdom and understanding, grace and mercy. I ask for a desire for godly wisdom and understanding for the American people and that they will have the wisdom and understanding to ask You, the Giver of wisdom and understanding, for it.

I ask that You will complete the works you began, and that I will not get in the way of Your plan. In Jesus name, Amen.
