Roses are red,
Violets ain't.
This stupid verse,
Is way past Quaint.
Whose got the ball?
I need to write, soon. Amy is gonna ban me from this place.
Sure. I'm not confused.
That's why we keep the sex in the bedroom and the beer in the 'fridge.
Priority list: (Thank God!)
1) Sex
2) Beer
3) Air Conditioning
In at least that order, although the list is not exclusive.
Do one about Louie/Max.
That will melt her heart, and you'll be good for months afterward.
Looks right to me.
Thanks for your help today with music and lyrics.
Meanwhile, I collected some quotes to complete the sketch of Marlene Dietrich.
* * *
If she had nothing more than her voice she could break your heart with it. But she has that beautiful body and the timeless loveliness of her face. It makes no difference how she breaks your heart if she is there to mend it. -- Ernest Hemingway
She remains what she has been for many years - an absolutely strange delight, whose gift lies outside her achievement as an actress, is not tied to a specific time and does not depend on the taste of the moment, not even on common sense. -- Cecil Beaton
Whoever knows her and has been able to experience her has experienced perfection itself. -- .Jean Cocteau
She has the bearing of a man; the characters she plays love power and wear trousers. Marlene's masculinity appeals to women and her sexuality to men. -- Kenneth Tynan
Marlene - with the unambiguous allure of the woman of yesterday and the ambiguous charm of the woman of today who has man not only about her but also within her. -- Hanna Schygulla
The most intriguing woman I've ever known. -- John Wayne
"Jesus gave us advice and showed us the way then left it to us to choose."
First line:
Jesus said, "This is the way, but you will have to choose."
Possible rhyming words, refuse, lose, abuse, news.
(You owe me one half a penny.)
I think that I shall never see
A thing as ugly as that tree.
Grass won't grow within her shade
So through the mud I daily wade.
Her leafy arms she holds aloof,
And tears the shingles from my roof.
From above a constant shower,
Leaves in the yard, sap on my car.
In other trees, birds fly and flit,
They only come to mine to ____.
Autumn comes and colors abound,
My tree just turns to barnyard brown.
This poem was made by poor old me,
And Poulan fixed that dratted tree.
No I'm fine on the spiritual front. It is my human brain in a human world side that is struggling. The John John love fest and all that crap is making me sick to my stomach.
Thanks, it is good but I am struggling with the political scene.
Johns
Striving for the Metrosexual vote,
John pulls John into his coat.
Snuggling warmly there inside,
With all the comfort Johns provide.
They hold each other oh, so close,
And smile and grin, just nose to nose.
The coat is fitting, I believe,
Except it has but one left sleeve.
They will need two of them, you see,
Their right arms can then atrophy.
No need to shake a loyal hand,
Their arms control is fully manned.
