ping!
pong!
in forums .. as far as i know it is the same as a "bump" or "btt"...just a way to agree with post and send it back to top of list.
Greetings and welcome to Free Republic. A "ping" is a way of alerting your friends to a particular thread.
A word of advice: be careful about vanities AND spend a lot of time reading before posting.
Ping? That's in lesson 2. First, All your bases are belong to us.
So that's what it is...
All this time, I've been thinking that a sub has been trying to identify me.
That'd be more of a low frequency "Buuuwhaaa" sound.. I think..
You have been identified.
One ping only
Darksheare, I entrust you to explain all of the Moose/Cheese references too!
You just do it SOOOO well! :-)
And I'm, frankly, not that hospitable *L*
LOL!
'Mr Spock, just what ARE they referring to?'
"Captain, it would seem that 'moose' and 'cheese' are referrences to skits performed by a late 20th century comedy group called 'Monty Python'. 'Moose' coming from the opening credit of the movie 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'. Most illogical Captain."
*shaking head*
I must be really tired, I'm getting even weirder AND creepier than normal.
~pats William Shatner on the head~
~wipes Shatners hair gel/dye into a tissue~
Beam me up Scotty!
LOL!
Yuppers, i'm getting REALLY creepy tonight.
*oh boy am I in trouble tonight..*
Calm down!
It's only a bad toupee! *LOL*
And I'm getting short stories in my head about killer toupees and sentient hair weaves that take over their host..
pings are hugh, and series, if you have anymore questions, I'll be in the shower.
