LOL! I thought I'd seen a virus alert for that, and that's why I fell for it. Thanks, though, because it appears I do have Bugbear.
It isn't a language issue, its a font issue. Free republic uses whatever font and link colors you choose as your default font. If yours got changed somehow recently, then change it back... In IE, go to Tools - Internet Options - General - Fonts to change the font, not the language.
Other sites may use a particular font style, so they won't change.
