I almost made some cinnamon rolls this a.m., but decided instead to do my father-in-law's taxes. What a choice.

Hey, everybody!

Coca-cola ham is baking while I watch Stewart move up the leaderboard. He's in the top 10! Now if he can inch up just a little more tomorrow....

Are you having a problem with FR? I'm having to log in every time I want to post something. I've checked my settings...I'm at "Most Convenient", which is supposed to leave one logged on all the time.

Bizarre. That's where my settings are, and, knock on wood, not problem one for quite some time now.

Don't let me mess up your system, but, how long has it been since you've restarted the machine?

Good luck with it, TO.

It's been doing it all week, but the minute I mentioned it....Voila!...it's OK now. Just one of those things.

Have y'all heard that "Ceegar Guy" was badly wounded in Falujah?!

Staff Sgt. Nick Popadich of the 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines Regiment, smokes a cigar while standing on top of his tank, as he arrives at a main crossroad in downtown Baghdad.

Popaditch served in the first Gulf War and his unit was the first to roll into Firdos Square the day Baghdad was liberated. After his unit returned home last year, he requested transfer to another unit so he could go back to Iraq and he ended up in the battle of Falujah. He will likely lose his right eye.

What a hero! I always imagined in that photo that a wanker human shield had just yelled "yankees go home!" before he laughed and blew smoke in her face.

TexKat got in touch with his mother and now has addresses for cards to Gunny Sgt. Popaditch and his family. You can email her at paspop2004@yahoo.com if you'd like to write.

There's a thread Here

This is a MUST READ. (And it's even called the EasterBlogg)...

An Alternative History
(excerpted)

...On August 7, 2001, Bush... ordered the United States military to stage an all-out attack on alleged terrorist camps in Afghanistan. Thousands of U.S. special forces units parachuted into this neutral country, while air strikes targeted the Afghan government and its supporting military. Pentagon units seized abandoned Soviet air bases throughout Afghanistan, while establishing support bases in nearby nations such as Uzbekistan. Simultaneously, FBI agents throughout the United States staged raids in which dozens of men accused of terrorism were taken prisoner.

Reaction was swift and furious. Florida Senator Bob Graham said Bush had "brought shame to the United States with his paranoid delusions about so-called terror networks." British Prime Minister Tony Blair accused the United States of "an inexcusable act of conquest in plain violation of international law." White House chief counterterrorism advisor Richard Clarke immediately resigned in protest of "a disgusting exercise in over-kill."

Bush justified his attack on Afghanistan, and the detention of 19 men of Arab descent who had entered the country legally, on grounds of intelligence reports suggesting an imminent, devastating attack on the United States. But no such attack ever occurred...

It's perfect satire.

Pulling for Stewart today - can't wait until it starts! Should be a great round. My heart goes out to Mickelson - he needs a great win like this, but if Cink makes his move, my heart's with him. Got my fingers and toes crossed, Timeout -- E

Happy EASTER!

I'm just quoting a 50+ female friend. I haven't dated anyone for over 12 years, and have not dated a fella who is over 33 yrs of age.
