The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.

The timer idea was just the thing Corin! We haven't heard a peep out of them since I put it in!

Let me tell ya, they would really go nuts in the middle of the night and much louder and distressing than a dog barking. Just imagine a four-chicken cacophony of BAWK-BAWK-BAWK-Buh-CAAAHK!!!! Over and over and over.

It's very fast and very hysterical sounding...not a nice clucking sound. Echoing through the neighborhood at 2-3am! It was appalling.

Now, if I don't go out there and let them out in the morning, they'd do it even now. But they thought it was morning in the middle of the night before!

Whew, I'm glad that worked...I was seeing the beginning of the end of keeping our girls which would have been disappointing.

I had this image of you tippy-toeing out there as not to wake them while you changed the water.

I had the same image! That she woke them up and they made a ruckus.

This morning when I tipped the horse's water trough over to tip out the ice on top, it cracked the rim off, it was so brittle.... oops. ecurbh brought out a bucket of hot to pour on top to warm it up a little.

it is only 15 degrees! BRRRRR!

It's 26 here this morning. It was in the low 60's at this time yesterday.

I am having a trilogy day at work. Gots all three soundtracks with me. Which is good 'cause the trolls are already gettin' on my nerves.

Got to get ready for a Bored meeting on Thursday (this is the worst one - all RATS). As soon as that's over, I'll hit the road for Entmoot.

Neat! - I used to have Mollies that bred like crazy.... ended up with so many that I asked and the fish store bought some back.... Would bring them in and trade them for store credit. Enough to buy some food or another fish! They used to buy my extra snails too....

All I have in my tank now is a half-dozen neons.

The section under "Current Status" is where I will put the info regarding how many have been shipped out and to whom.

Well sure.... if I am at home, but if'n I am bringing him before ~them~ to be judged....

I do know people who show Arabs in dressage only, never in Arab shows, who do pull their manes short to fit the sport they are in.

My friend is one.... had a very typey half-arab and had her mane pulled about an inch long.... I questioned it, and she said, "She's not an Arab now, she's a dressage horse!"
