Maybe they wanted to move it(s), what if they can't?
AND, can the detection equipment still detect it underground?

I would think that they could have it hidden in a basement somewhere. If decided it was time then they could have it wheeled out onto the side walk and detonated before anyone could respond. I don't see to much up hope of them getting something in the country at this time. It would have to be already here. Lets hope that it is not.
