I believe all of this is just Jihadist trash-talk, but it is hard to ignore. I seriously doubt that the senior AQ leadership is going to telegraph their plans to the world. Secrecy and patience are the primary AQ traits, but AQ has likely changed since it has been decimated during the past 2+ years and there is even talk that OBL is no longer calling the shots - Whether he is alive or dead.
