Being fluent in Arabic would be very helpful. But as I understand even the intel agencies are short of Arabic speaking translators.

PC won't save the American Muslums if they try another 9/11 in three different cities. The national outrage would accept major military power being used overseas without a problem, too.

Call me a skeptic, but the next 9/11 style attack will not change our policy towards the Arab world or American Muslims for that matter (not that I believe it shouldn't).

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP)--Police clashed with suspected al-Qaida sympathizers in the streets of the sacred city of Mecca on Monday, killing two militants and uncovering a cache of weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, grenades and bomb-making materials.
